Second Avenue Software Makes Connections at GDC
Pittsford, NY - March 12, 2007 - CEO Victoria Van Voorhis and her development team went to the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco last week to meet with other companies in the gaming and biotech industries, including Nintendo North America, Microsoft, Genentech, Disney Interactive, D3 Publisher, Majesco, Sega, RealNetworks, and Mumbo Jumbo.
Victoria and her team also toured the facilities of computer manufacturer OQO (www.oqo.com), where they met with its CEO Jory Bell and saw the company's latest prototypes.
"We went to GDC to gather the latest information about these changing industries and to share our capabilities with other companies, bringing our talent into the gaming industry," said Victoria. "We received positive responses to our 3D models and deep interactivity samples, and based on this feedback we are now developing prototype games on select platforms."
