ROCHESTER, NY – Second Avenue Software, a Pittsford-based software development and services company specializing in content authoring, managed services, interactive software and media production, is pleased to announce the addition of Susan P. Byrd to its Board of Directors.
For the past year, Susan has served as Second Avenue's Vice President of Business Development, in which capacity she contributed significantly to the growth and strategic alignment of the company. Susan is moving on to a new role as Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for Ultralife Corporation, a publicly held company in Newark, NY. Ultralife began as a battery company and now offers products and services ranging from portable and standby power solutions to communications and electronics systems for government, defense and commercial customers globally.
Second Avenue’s CEO, Tory Van Voorhis, thanked Susan for her contributions and noted that she is pleased that Susan will remain involved with the company as a member of the Board of Directors.
